If you follow me on instagram, you know that I recently went to San Francisco. While I’ve been to California before, I’ve never been to SF, so I was obviously excited to see the famous city. And with views like these, it definitely didn’t disappoint…
We got into SF by about noon, and immediately headed out to explore. Deciding to do the most touristy things we could think of, we made our way to the famous Lombard street via one of the iconic SF trolleys.
(I was a little excited about riding on the outside)
The trolley dropped us off at the bottom of Lombard street, leaving us to hike up to the top…
Which was the steepest hill I think I’ve ever climbed, but, the view from the top definitely make the leg-achingly steep walk 100% worth it.
All this walking worked up an appetite, so we hopped back on the trolley and headed back to Mission District where we were staying for a quick dinner.
We met our friend at San Pancho in Mission for dinner and a drink. San Pancho is a newer restaurant that serves upscale Mexican food, and has a wide beer selection. The food was good, and the portions were huge, but honestly, there are so many great hole-in-the-wall Mexican places in SF, and those are much more my style.
After our early morning flight, and hours of adventuring up and down the hills of SF, we were exhausted, and called it an early night, excited about the adventures we would have the next day.
Stay tuned for more on our SF adventures!
